Academic Search Premier contains indexing and abstracts for over 8,450 journals, with full text for more than 4,600 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 and further are available for over one hundred journals. Searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier contains full-text coverage in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion & theology, etc.

Ancestry Library Edition provides access to a wide range of unique resources for genealogical and historical research. Please note this database can only be used in the library.

Auto Repair Reference Center contains information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles, with repair information for most vintage makes starting as far back as 1945. It also includes wiring diagrams and technical service bulletins.


Business Searching Interface provides an easy way to both browse and search for country economic data, company profiles, industry information and market research, and then use the results as limiters in a keyword search.

Business Source Premier features the full text for more than 2,150 journals. Full text is provided back to 1886, and searchable cited references back to 1998. Additional full text, non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, company profiles and SWOT analyses.


Colorado Grants Guide The Colorado Grants Guide is Colorado’s leading online tool for grant funding research. This comprehensive resource guide contains over 750 profiles of local foundations and trusts, corporations, national funders, and government agencies that support Colorado nonprofit organizations. Please note this database can only be used in the library.

The Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection (CHNC) currently includes 147 newspapers published in Colorado from 1859 to 1923. CHNC contains over 477,000 digitized pages and is a joint endeavor of the Colorado State Library, the Colorado Historical Society, and generous donors throughout the state.

The Colorado Senior Law Handbook is a consumer-oriented guide that addresses issues facing Colorado's older citizens. Informative chapters address such issues as age discrimination, protecting against fraud, grandparents' rights, and employment issues.

Colorado Virtual Library is a cooperative project of the Colorado State Library and the Colorado library community to provide access to other libraries collections, resources for kid and teachers.

Consumer Health Complete provides content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to holistic and integrated medicine. This full-text database covers topics such as aging, cancer, diabetes, drugs & alcohol, fitness, nutrition & dietetics, children's health, men & women's health, etc.

CultureGrams World Edition provides information that ranges from mile-high views of a nation, its society, and institutions to close-up views of communities, families, and individuals. Demographics Now is an online database offering access to in-depth demographic data for the delivery of consumer and market insight into rapidly compiled reporting visualizations.


Ebrary is an online digital library. From outside the library you will need to create an account and sign in with your library card number.

Facts On File's Science Online offers biographies, essays, definitions, diagrams, experiments, timelines and more representing significant achievements, discoveries, or natural phenomena related to the development of science.

Front Range Downloadable Library provides 24/7 convenient online access to audio books and music. To check out materials, patrons browse the collection, select a title, and then enter a valid library card number to download the digital book.  If a title is not immediately available, users can place a hold and will receive an email notification when it is ready for checkout.

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia for students and adults alike, indexes over 25,000 records, covering an array of topics. Full text for each record may be easily accessed by double clicking on the topic from the display. The database contains various images, offers brief biographies as well as information in a variety of subject areas. This database is updated annually.

Legal Information Reference Center contains hundreds of full-text publications and thousands of legal forms. The full-text legal reference books are provided through Nolo, a respected provider of legal information for consumers and small businesses. With the ‘Legal Forms by U.S. State’ feature, users can search over 12,800 state-specific legal forms–searchable by top subject areas including Adoption, Bankruptcy, Name Changes and more.

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts with Full Text Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s. This database also includes author profiles. Customers can review information on 5,000 of the frequently indexed authors, such as which subject terms are most commonly applied to their articles, and in which publications the author has been published.


Magill's Literary Annual covers recent works of fiction and nonfiction across subjects, genres, and countries. Each year, Magill's Literary Annual critically evaluates 200 major examples of serious literature, both fiction and nonfiction, published during the previous calendar year. 30+ years are available through this online database.

MedlinePlus brings together authoritative information from National Library of Medicine (NLM), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations. This database has extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and latest health news.

MetaLib is a federated search engine that searches multiple U.S. Federal government databases, retrieving reports, articles, and citations while providing direct links to selected resources available online.

Middle Search Plus contains full text for more than 140 popular, middle school magazines. All full-text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full text is also available for thousands of biographies and historical essays. Additionally, Middle Search Plus contains primary source documents, including Essential Documents in American History, reference books including the Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia and American Heritage Dictionary, 4th Edition from Houghton Mifflin, the Encyclopedia of Animals, and an image collection of over 502,000 photos, maps, and flags.

The New Book of Popular Science is a leading science encyclopedia geared to student readers. Click on The New Book of Popular Science in the left column.

NewsBank contains information from newspapers and newswires including the Daily Camera, Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, and the Broomfield Enterprise. Features include special reports and current events-hot topics. NewsBank also covers of U.S. and international news, business, lifestyle, entertainment, sports, and science and technology from familiar magazines such as Time, Fortune and Popular Science.

Newspaper Source provides cover-to-cover full text for 45 national (U.S.) and international newspapers, including Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Times (London), Toronto Star, etc. The database also contains selective full text for 389 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full-text television & radio news transcripts are provided from CBS News, CNN, CNN International, FOX News, NPR, etc.

NoveList Plus is a fiction and nonfiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles.
