  1. Broomfield Council on the Arts and Humanities Benefit event features Lannie Garrett in "Swing Sets: Benny, Basie & Beyond!"

    Lannie and her fantastic band will delight and entertain you with toe-tapping, popular swing tunes in "Swing Sets: Benny, Basie & Beyond!" But that's not all --there will be a craft beer tasting by Wonderland Brewing Co., gourmet popcorn and trail mix bar by The Dessert Stand and silent auction with great packages up for grabs. Your attendance at this benefit event supports the non-profit efforts of the Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities in promoting the cultural landscape of Broomfield, encouraging diverse programming for everyone from newborn to 100 years old, and helping artists and art organizations thrive in our community.

  1. Children - Toddler Story Time

    February 8, 2017, 9:15 AM - 9:45 AM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Toddlers actively participate in stories, music and movement enhancing their social, emotional and language development while fostering a love for reading and books. Caregivers will be introduced to early literacy skills they can practice with their children to prepare them for successful learning when they enter school. It is a 30 minute program for children 21 to 35 months and a caregiver. Toddler time is presented 4 times a week. Mondays: 10-10:30 a.m. and repeated at 10:45-11:15 a.m. or Wednesday: 9:15-9:45 a.m. and repeated at 10-10:30 a.m. There are no drop-ins for Toddler Story Time, registration is required.   2. Adult- English Language Conversation Group

    Practice your spoken English in the Library's conversation groups. The conversation groups are a fun way to improve your English. These classes are for those who use English as a second language and do not specifically emphasize grammar or vocabulary. Conversation groups meet Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. No registration is needed.
