Yoga for Children and Teens
Our instructors will help teach the participants the basics of yoga in a playful manner, how to listen to their bodies, deal with stress and relax. Classes teach mind/body health and balance and help to build strength, flexibility and self-esteem. Each age group is taught age appropriate activities with a yoga base. Free to Recreation Pass Holders at the Paul Derda Recreation Center. Youth yoga punch cards available for drop-ins for participants that are not on a recreation pass.

*Children must be dropped off at the studio door and picked up promptly at the end of class.
Fun 'n' FitnessClass listings
This 45-minute class focuses on cardiovascular fitness, strength, and flexibility training through a variety of games designed specifically for youth in a non-competitive environment. This course is free to children that have a Recreation Pass! Class size is limited to 15, please pick up a number at the front desk up to 90 minutes before class starts.

Our movement-based curriculum is specifically designed to help toddlers develop hand-eye coordination, balance, self-confidence, and fine and gross motor skills! This class is great for the busy parent who is looking to spend some quality time with their child, as well as the stay-at-home parent who wants to get their child out of the house and into an educational, social environment. Just For Girls!Class listings
This class is designed especially for 6th and 7th grade girls. We will focus on exercise, movement, nutrition, stress relief, building self-esteem and creating healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Each girl will receive a journal to help her incorporate a home connection with the topics that will be covered in class. Girls will also have the option to receive their weight room certification during the course to ensure their success after the course ends. For ages 10 - 12 years.
This class is focused on helping kids grow through martial arts training in a family-oriented environment. Kids learn that no task is too difficult and are encouraged in their successes and challenges. All levels of instruction (white - black belt) are available. Fees occur on the first day of class. Classes lead by Personal Trainers who have specialized training with the young athlete. Activities will include strength training, agility drills, lateral movement, flexibility training, resistance running and more! You will also learn basic nutrition to properly fuel your body.
